Windswept Maples, was named for the windy weather and many maple trees that have always been apparent on our farm. In 1780, Archeles Moore founded our farm after moving from a nearby area. The maple trees on our land have been tapped ever since. The land in this area has also been farmed since that time. Over the years there have been many changes and many new Moore farmers, but it has always stayed a family farm.
